The flower made of carved mother of pearl (shell) 7-8 mm in diameter. The flowers are hand carved, so the rose shape can be slightly different from the photographed one.
NICKEL FREE 925 SILVER and 14K GOLD FILLED (also called gold filled, gold fill, gold rolled or gold layered), that I work with, are both very quality materials. I use gold filled and sterling silver in my handmade jewels, because it is important to me to give you the best.
It is generally known that silver darkens with time. This is a natural process of oxidation under the influence of the environment. But there is a wide range of tools for cleaning silver objects and returning them the original beauty and luster.
Just follow a few simple rules, that will help you to keep your jewelry in its ideal condition.
– do not swim or shower with the jewelry on. Some of the details are glued to each other.
-the perfumes and other cosmetics must be applied before putting earrings on. There are some chemical substances that can cause irredeemably darkening of silver jewelry.
– treat the earrings carefully, it is very delicate.
– mother of pearl is an organic material that is sensitive to abrasion and chemicals.
