Shipping

As a result of government regulations on COVID-19, post offices may be closed and processing times may be longer for reasons beyond my control. If such a delay occurs, I will send you an email notification and will make all possible efforts to send your order shortly.

Also, there may be delays in shipment in both my country and your country. I apologize if such a delay happens due to reasons beyond my control and I will greatly appreciate your patience and understanding.

 

The GemsTone will attempt to ship merchandise within 3-5 business days of purchase unless otherwise specified. With the exception of weekends (Friday-Saturday) and Israeli holidays.

During the holidays in my or your country shipping can take longer. Your patience is greatly appreciated.

 

Please note, it may take up to two working days for the first status to become available in the order tracking system.

 

The GemsTone undertakes every effort to ship your order and make it with all responsibility, but will not be liable for the following cases:

 

  • The customer provides an incorrect/inaccurate address. There will be no refund for lost items due to incorrect address.
  • When delay in delivery occurs after the order is shipped.
  • When the order is not picked up by the customer in time. When the order is returned to the customer by the postal service, то The GemsTone  may return to the customer the cost of the shipped item minus the shipping cost and restocking fee (15%). The refund will be issued only after the shipment is returned by the customer and when it is received in its original, undamaged condition. The refund is processed in this case at the discretion of the sender.
  • When another person or persons receives the shipment instead of the intended recipient (in the case when the shipment services confirms delivery). The moment of delivery at the address supplied by the customer is outside of my control and therefore I can not bear the responsibility for personal delivery. My responsibility is to timely ship the package or parcel to the address furnished by the customer.
  • The customer does not want to pick up a package as a result of a customs toll or fee being levied on the shipment and its contents.

 

International Shipping

Please note to check your country customs expenses before you choose shipping method. Customers are responsible for any fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping & purchasing to their respective countries. Unfortunately, we have no control over customs charges in your country and cannot know what they may be. You can refer to the website http://www.dutycalculator.com/ or check with your local post office for more details on what you can expect. In such cases the seller bears the right to not issue a purchase refund.

 

Delivery times for International packages may reach up to 6 weeks, depending on your location. Delivery times are estimates, not guarantees, and based on the average time most orders took to arrive.

You will be emailed your receipt, tracking information and details regarding your order.

 

Registered mail

No tracking is offered outside of Israel, unless you choose to  upgrade shipping to EMS or ECO post service if it applicable for certain product. The ECO Post and EMS services are fully trackable.

 

ECO POST

Rush delivery, about 14 business days. Valid for the following countries: USA, France, Netherlands, Canada, Great Britain, Sweden, Switzerland, Australia, Germany. Cost is $12 for parcels weighing up to 500g.

 

EMS

The fast and convenient way to deliver a mail parcel to your door. Duration is roughly 10 days around the world, at a cost of $24 for packages weighing up to 500g. You will receive the order with courier. Insurance by EMS is at my expense.

Your telephone number is required when shipping with EMS. I am not asking to use your phone number for advertising purposes.

Domestic Shipping

The GemsTone will send your purchase by postal service with tracking number (unless otherwise agreed upon). Deliveries are made by the Israel Post registered mail or Courier service.

The registered mail service includes tracking up to your local post office. You can track the progress of your delivery using the number that’s provided in your order confirmation email.

Courier service is available from Sunday to Friday, and someone will need to be in to sign for your delivery.

Please note; it may take up to two working days for the first status to become available on the order tracking system.

Insurance

I offer insurance for my jewelry items, because once they have been shipped, I cannot be held responsible for packages that are lost in the mail or for any loss, damage, cost, or expense related to any delay in shipment or delivery after shipping the order.

Insurance is available for an extra fee and is recommended.

Due to the fact that I produce many of my pieces as single/singular copies, I prefer to insure my jewelry products.

You will receive a full refund for insured items produced ​​in a single copy if they were lost by mail.

 

Delayed package

The delay occurs due to problems in the mail or post office work, and in most occasions, you will receive your package after a few days.

Estimated shipping time from Israel to the USA is 4-6 weeks. If your package does not arrive, please let me know. I will then initiate an investigation process for a missing package and will do everything possible to locate it. Once an inquiry into a missing package is opened, you will likely be asked to contact your local post office to get information that is not available in Israel.

 

The process of locating a parcel or package is carried out by the official authorities (the postal service of both the sender and receiver countries), and may take up to 60 day, in accordance with their respective rules. Unfortunately, the speed of the investigation process is outside of my control. I appreciate your understanding.

 

I am unable to issue a customer refund until an official notification of investigation results has been received.
